We already have established customers in both Europe and the USA - so we understand the costs/processes involved in shipping our products out safely to our overseas customers.

Solo II is an Aveda Exclusive Salon and Spa, based in Glastonbury (UK) and we were established in 1993.
As an official Aveda Exclusive Salon and Spa, we ONLY use, stock & sell Aveda products so we are well placed to offer any help and advice to our clients as well as assuring them that all of the products we sell are both genuine and complete and have been supplied to us by Aveda UK Ltd.

PRIVACY
As part of the purchasing process we require certain personal details from you - name, address etc - we treat all of your information with the utmost respect and DO NOT divulge it to any 3rd party - its is held within our eShop's secure server database system and is only used by us to process your order and to contact you from time to time.
You can elect to have your details removed from the database at any time by contacting us in writing.
WE DO NOT HOLD, STORE, HAVE ACCESS TO OR VIEW YOUR PAYMENT CARD/PAYPAL DETAILS AT ANY TIME - THEY ARE ONLY USED BY THE AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PROCESSORS (SagePay & PayPal) THROUGH THE 100% SECURE SERVER'S PAYMENT GATEWAY.
ORDERING
You can order your products in our online eShop in just a few, simple clicks - it couldn't be easier -
- browse through our eShop
- select your products and add them to your cart
- complete your shopping and then go to the checkout
- select the type of delivery you would like
- fill in your delivery/billing details
- choose a payment method and pay
thats it!
MINIMUM ORDER VALUE
In order to offer free delivery on all orders to all of our customers - we have a minimum order value of just £20 - if your order is going to be less than £20 - simply call us during salon opening hours and we will let you know what the charge will be for postage of your items - which we only charge at cost.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE
All orders are deemed to be "accepted" ONLY . . .
- when we have received your complete order - via our website or telephone
- when we have received confirmation of your payment and (in the case of PayPal) a "confirmed" delivery address
- when we have responded back to you with the "processing" e.mail that we generate manually
During normal business hours this process usually happens within "minutes" of receiving your order and it does not delay the process at all.
PAYMENTS
We accept all forms of payment to give our customers the widest possible choice -

credit/debit card payments over the phone through our shop-based secure-card-terminal during office hours

cheques (subject to clearance - 5 working days)

VAT
All of our prices include VAT at the current rate (01/01/10) of 17.5%
ORDER PROCESSING
We aim to process and ship all orders within 2 working days of order and payment receipt - at the moment as long as we receive an order before 3pm - shipment usually happens the same day.
We do not release products until we are in receipt of a cleared payment.
SHORTAGES
We are constantly checking/updating our online stock information - we are also constantly replenishing our stock on a daily basis - however, because we sell products online, in the shop and via the telephone - you may sometimes find that the product you have ordered online is out of stock - we sincerely apologise if this happens and offer our clients a number of choices -

an instant refund and a sincere apology - and we mean instant!

a short 3-4 working day delay while we obtain your product from Aveda
Either way we will contact you ASAP to discuss the best option for you and hope that you will bear with us on the rare occasion that this happens - in 2008 it has only happened twice!
DELIVERY
Through our eShop we offer 6 types of delivery to our UK customers -
- Free Delivery (£0) on all UK orders over £20 - except Highlands (see below)
- Special Delivery (£5) - mon-fri
- Special Delivery (£8) - sat
- Highlands Delivery (£3) - small-products - lipstick etc
- Highlands Delivery (£5) - 1 product (250ml)
- Highlands Delivery (£10) - 2 or more products (500ml or more in total)

If you need something in a hurry or you need a gift delivered on a specific day of the week or a Saturday - please choose the appropriate Special Delivery option at the checkout!
Either way - you must choose your preferred delivery method at the checkout - free or paid.

Free Standard Delivery - usually takes between 2 - 5 working days (can sometimes take longer) and is carried by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery Service or by 1st Class Standard Delivery depending upon item purchased - we are not responsible for delivery times.

Special Delivery mon-fri - is carried by Royal Mail Special Delivery Service and is guaranteed to be delivered next day before 1pm.

Special Delivery sat - is carried by Royal Mail Special Delivery Service and is guaranteed to be delivered on Saturday before 1pm.

Highlands Delivery - this service is carried by Royal Mail, DHL or ParcelForce - its usually delivered in 2 days but please allow up to 4 days for delivery
All services (except 1st class post) require a signature upon successful delivery.
At our sole discretion - subject to the weight/number of items purchased - we may choose to send items by courier (DHL) or by another means - whatever is safest and most cost-effective - we will obviously inform you of any variance.
RETURNS
We want you to be absolutely delighted with your products and services that you purchase from us and we gladly accept returns of faulty/damaged and unwanted goods under the following conditions . . .

FAULTY/DAMAGED GOODS - must be notified to us immediately upon receipt by either e.mail or by telephone on 01458 834 442 - we will replace them free of charge once the faulty item has been received by us for inspection - we will also refund your 'postage back to us' costs too - we may also require photgraphic evidence of such damage via MMS to 07966 454874

UNWANTED GOODS - must be notified to us within 7 days of receipt by you to us via e.mail or by telephone on 01458 834 442 - once we have received the goods back to us in saleable, unused, unopened and as-new condition - we will refund your purchase price - however you are responsible for the cost of postage back to us - the loss of any item back to us is also your responsibility - we suggest that you use a tracked/insured postage service
